Ballyfermot Community Association are hosting a social evening for the older people of Ballyfermot and surronding area's on Wednesday 30th of November. Gemma McDonnell from TASK Community Care will be there on the night to provide information on personal security in the home.

The staff of Ballyfermott Community Association have done tremendous work for the community of Ballyfermot, particularly the older residents. They have provided the elderly with "snuggies" to keep them warm in the cold winter months, social outings, security equipment through the Seniors Alert Scheme and much more.

We congratulate all of the organisations out there, like Ballyfermot Community Association, who have made a difference in the lives of the older people in their communities.
