TASK Community Care will be attending an important event organised by Ardfinnan Community Alert in association with Muintir na Tíre and the HSE.

Entitled 'Alerting Communities to Elder Abuse' this seminar will now take place in Ardfinnan Community Centre on Wednesday 29th June 2011 [previously scheduled for 22nd June 2011] commencing at 10.00 a.m. HSE personnel will provide information on Elder Abuse and a number of other topics will be covered including:

1. Warmer Homes Low Income Housing Programme which provides attic and cavity wall insulation to help alleviate fuel poverty for low income households.

2. Information and entitlements for persons in receipt of social welfare and or Health Service Executive payments. 

The event is for the entire community and is open to all. Refreshments will be served after. We look forward to seeing you there.
