TASK will be attending Muintir na Tíre's 25th Anniversary Conference in Garda College, Templemore, Co Tipperary on Saturday 30th October from 9am until 4.30pm.

Muintir na Tíre and An Garda Síochána have operated the Community Alert Crime Prevention Programme in every county in Ireland since 1985. This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the operation of the programme which has enjoyed excellent support from the communities with 1,341 Community Alert Groups now in existence.

On the 30th October 2010 a Conference to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Community Alert programme is being held in the Garda College Templemore, Co Tipperary.

Members of An Garda Síochána, Muintir na Tíre, HSE will be in attendance and running workshops and giving presentations / speeches on the day.

It will be a great opportunity for Community Groups to be part of the celebrations and will be a fun filled and informative day for all.
